Exhibition "Narrativas con sentimiento"

From May 6, 2021 to May 26, 2021.
Lorenzo Vaquero Exhibition Hall, Getafe (Madrid).

City of Getafe Award (AEPE Autumn Salon, 2019) for “Low tide”, visit the exhibition with a selection of the most representative works that reflect moments of tension, serenity and tenderness. “Encrucijada”, modern realism, and “Insomnia”, abstract, were cataloged in the Autumn Salon, 2018 and 2020, respectively. The work expresses narratives, some disturbing, full of provocative thoughts and feelings. Merge the figurative with the abstract, reassuring with unsettling.

Ana ... across the canvas

and the life ...

My paintings are not estranged from my decades of experience as a reporter and journalist. Journalism separates facts from opinions. But art does not. My current artistic vocation permits interpreting reality subjectively and even allows me to embellish or darken it at will with creative fantasy.
